North Carolina Remodel

Last month was a really bad month around our house. The biggest problem we had was a leak in our kitchen. This wasn't just a little leak, this was a huge flood. Aside from a big messy cleanup, the cabinets and floors were pretty badly damaged. Insurance didn't cover nearly as much as we expected to, so we were lost as to how to get it back in working order. We didn't even really need to do an upgrade, we just wanted it to be fully functioning. We priced everything we needed at the home improvement store, but just the cabinets were over our budget, and that didn't even touch flooring.

One of our neighbors recently remodeled their kitchen and it was beautiful. They got everything replaced with top of the line materials. We couldn't spend all that much to get this done, but we also didn't want to be stuck with a lesser quality than we had to start with. We asked the neighbors who they used just to get the process started. They told us they got the whole room for less than the cabinet price we received at the home improvement store and all from one place. We called American Kitchen Corporation and learned they were right. The prices were fantastic and the product was high quality. Of course we asked them to get started right away so we could get back to normal. They were friendly and highly professional, keeping us informed every step of the way.

Now our neighbors aren't the only ones that got a renovation. I guess we got lucky with that leak because we ended up with exactly the kitchen we dreamed of but thought we would never afford. American Kitchen Corporation really helped us out of a bad situation and gave us a fresh new start.

  5. When my husband and I decided to move forward with the kitchen remodel we really had in mind getting better quality cabinets and were hoping for a little more space. What we got from the designer amazed us. Not only did we have a new lighter, brighter kitchen but we have so much more space I had to go out a buy more kitchen stuff to fill it! Sam, used ever inch available to allow for more cabinets and counter space. I never knew we had so much unused space.

  6. Over the years my husband and I have had many remodeling projects completed in the numerous houses we have owned. The most professional worksman we have ever encountered came from our kitchen remodel with American Kitchen Corporation. Christian Brothers Construction was the contractor in our kitchen day in and day out. They made the beautiful transformation that we designed come to life. Not only did the transformation thrill both my husband and myself, but the fact that it was done with talented, detail-oriented, courteous and friendly workers made the entire remodel process something to smile about.

  8. American Kitchen offers and completes an amazing kitchen. But the finishing touches are what really puts the kitchen over the edge. The molding that by the ceiling is just beautiful. The other one that I am in love with are what AKC called decorative end panels. Instead of having a flat plain cabinet end, you get a beautiful panel that follows the contour of the doors. I had never even seen them before, but I wouldn't have another kitchen without them.

  14. I purchased a kitchen renovation package from American Kitchen in November 2013. My home in Cary was built in 1996. The original white cabinets were peeling badly and it was time to update the kitchen. We spent almost two years shopping and comparing our options. Several friends of ours have used American Kitchen and I had received their postcard with the piece of granite many times. Therefore I decided to get an estimate from them before I did my kitchen.
Logan did not pressure us in any way to purchase the kitchen. He was very knowledgeable. We were able to decide what we wanted to do with another person, the design engineer named Sam, before we made our decision. They offered financing but we were able to save 5% by paying cash. I paid with my Amex card, and I was still given the same discount.
We ended up purchasing a Lord Nelson Aristocracy Strasbourg package, which is a cherry stain. They let you get whatever options you want for free, just as their website says, but you have to extra pay for the backsplash, which I think was around $1,500. They charge the same for a granite backsplash or a tile backsplash. They had a man to meet me at the tile showroom to select tile and later to choose my granite slabs.
My project really started the second week of January and it is finishing up now. I am glad to be able to cook in my own kitchen again. I cannot say enough for Ben and his men. I have had bad experiences with subcontractors before, and having everyone in-house is one reason I selected American Kitchen. Some of my friends who have used American Kitchen a long time ago say they used to use subcontractors, and their projects took much longer than mine.
I should mention that I paid $15,000 less for my kitchen than any other quote I received. I highly recommend American Kitchen, especially if you can afford the Aristocracy line. It has everything you can imagine and it is not that expensive.
